It is an innovative product with easy and quick installation. The OakRemote can convert appliances like a water heater, AC, water pump, set-top box, lights and fans into smart appliances. It can be used to automatically water the plants when you are travelling, switch on the AC before coming home, set daily schedules for water heaters to start early morning and stop when everyone in the family has taken a bath. Connectivity

The OakRemote does not require the Oakter smart home hub. It is essentially a plugged-in IR blaster which fits into standard Indian electric sockets easily. You just have to plugin and configure with the help of "Oakter Smart Home" mobile app and then you can control all your IR remotes (TV, Set-top box, Music system etc.) easily via the mobile app! It is very convenient and user friendly. The remote even comes with the pre-loaded Remote (IR) codes for standard set-top boxes like Tata Sky, DishTV etc. and any new remotes can also be learnt by it via mobile app. With Oakter’s integration with Amazon Alexa, everything can be now controlled over voice command. Smart Lock

The OakRemote comes with a Smart lock which serves as both an additional security feature and also as a safety device for the kids and the elderly living alone, as it can be accessed remotely. It provides you security as it works as an additional lock over the present locks and you enable the notifications, it sends a notification whenever the lock is opened both physically and remotely. It provides safety because if you can open it remotely and request anybody to check on kids or dog as that person would get personal access to the house. 

Energy efficiency

The OakRemote helps in saving unnecessary wastage of electricity as you can switch off the fans, lights, AC's left on by as and when required. You can also connect your CCTV to Oakter devices and operate those as per your requirement. This device is really very convenient, comfortable and efficient. You can also schedule the lights of different rooms to operate on and off at fixed or flexible timings which can be controlled via the Oakter app. Further, it itself uses only 10 Watts of electricity and operates in the range of 180 – 280 volts.
