Part(s) Covered: Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil/Gas recharge (only while condenser and compressor is being replaced under the warranty period)

Condition: Product (ie. Split Air Conditioners) purchased by the first purchaser from 01 January 2022-31 December 2022 Samsung India Electronics Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Company) provides an extended warranty of 4 years on Condenser, Gas Charging (on Condenser failure), and PCB Controller/Fan Motor/Evaporator Coil of the product in addition to the 1 year comprehensive warranty. One time free of cost Gas recharge will be applicable on the compressor replacement after 1 year of warranty completion under the 10 year compressor warranty period. The extended warranty can be claimed within 5 years from the date of purchase of the Product. The extended warranty is available only on the Condenser, PCB (indoor PCB+ outdoor PCB) Controller, Fan motor, Evaporator Coil of Split Air Conditioners models (ARIZBYSYAWK, AR12BYSYATA, AR188YSYAWK, AR18BYSYATA, AR18BYNZBWK, ARIBBYNZAWK, AR18BYSYATZ, AR18BYNZAUS, ARIBBYSZAPG, AR188Y5YATB, AR18BY5ZAWK, AR12BY4YAWK, AR12BY4YATA, AR12BX4ZAWK, AR12BY4ZAPG, AR12BY4ZAWK, AR18BY4YAWK, AR18BY4YATA, ARIBBX4ZAWK, ARIBBY4ZAPG, AR188Y4ZAWK, AR18BY4YATB, AR24BY4YAWK, AR18BY3YAWK, AR18BY3YATA, AR18BY3YATZ, AR18BYLZAUS, AR18BYLZAWK, ARI88Y3YATB, AR18BYSZAWK, AR188Y3ZAPG) hereinafter referred as the Product') purchased by the first purchased between 01 January 2022 to 31 December 2022, whereby the Company will free of charge repair or replace the Condenser/PCB Controller/Evaporator Coil/Fan motor only.

• The terms and conditions of this extended warranty ("Extended Warranty") are supplemental to the terms and conditions provided on the Standard Warranty Card supplied with the product.
• This Extended Warranty is confined to the first purchaser ("Customer") of the Product only and is non-transferrable and shall be valid only on the Product [Split Air conditioner] purchased between 01" January 2022 to 31 December 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the "Term") by the end Customer only.
• This Extended Warranty is applicable only for the repair or replacement of the Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator coil of the Product. The repair or replacement of the Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Call of the Product will be carried out through its Authorized Service Centers.
• For the Products installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the Authorized Service Centre, all the expenses including but not limited to collection of the product from the Authorized Service Centre, expenses incurred in connection with deputing of service personnel/technicians, travel expenses (to and fro), other incidental expenses etc. shall be borne by the Customer
• In the event of repairs/replacement of the Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil, this Extended Warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the Extended Warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the Extended Warranty period.
• The Company or its Authorized Service Centre, reserve the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its sole discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the Product during the Extended Warranty period.
• During the period of the Extended Warranty the Company's obligation under shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil only. Any additional part(s) that may be required to restore the Product to the working condition shall be on chargeable basis at a price prevailing at the time of repair.
• In the event of any unforeseen circumstance(s), and spares not being available, the Company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the Customer to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
• The Extended Warranty does not cover any accessories external to the Product.
• The Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this Extended Warranty.
• This Extended Warranty will not be applicable in any of the following cases:
• The Product is not purchased during the term specified above.
• The Product does not match the description as provided above.
• The Product is not purchased from an authorized dealer of the Company in India
• The Product is not used according to instructions given in the instruction manual.
• Defects caused by improper usage as determined by the Company's personnel
• Modification or alteration of any nature is made in the electrical circuitry/or physical construction of the Product.
• Installation/repair work is carried out by persons/agencies other than authorized by the Company.
• The conditions of the premises do not confirm to the recommended operating conditions of the Product.
• The original serial number is removed, obliterated or altered from the Product or its cabinet.
• Defects due to causes beyond control of the Company like, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to service centre or to the customer's place
• Defects caused by household pets, rats, cockroaches or any other animal or insects
• This Extended Warranty shall cover only the Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil of the Product
• While Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil replacement, only Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil shall be replaced free of cost. Any labor charges related to the replacement of the Condenser/PCB Controller/Fan motor/Evaporator Coil and/or associated repairs shall be on chargeable basis.
• While Condenser replacement, Gas charging and Condenser part replacement both shall be done free of cost. Any labor charges related to the replacement of the Condenser and/or associated repairs shall be on chargeable basis.
• One time free of cost gas charging will be applicable on compressor replacement after 1 year of warranty completion, upon producing the coupon issued during purchase of the unit.
