HOW WILL I KNOW IF EXCHANGE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE PRODUCT I WANT TO BUY ?
For the eligible products, you will find the "With Exchange" option in the product detail page.
HOW DO I CHECK IF EXCHANGE IS AVAILABLE AT MY LOCATION ?
To check if Exchange is available at your location, update the pin code of your delivery address and look for the “With Exchange” option on the product page of the relevant product. Please note, exchange is currently available in select cities only.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE CONDITION OF MY OLD PRODUCT THAT IS TO BE EXCHANGED ?
If you are returning a Mobile, the old product must be
- - In working condition.
- - The display & screen of the old product should be intact, without any scratches, dents or cracks, discolouration, spots, lines, dead pixels, or any other damage of any manner.
- - You are requested to remove any scratch-guard, screen-guard, tempered-glass, or other protective covering applied to the screen of the old product.
- - The old product should match the details entered while placing the order (with Exchange) and will be validated by the delivery associate, i.e. IMEI of the phone.
- - You must delete all personal data, sign out of your iCloud (iOS) / Google (Android) accounts, and remove any lock code or passwords.
- - Ensure the old product is sufficiently charged & factory re-setted before handing over.
If you are returning a TV, Washing Machine, AC or Refrigerator, the used product must be
- - For Refrigerators, the unit should be unplugged from the power socket, cleaned out and emptied of any food items.
- - For Washing Machines, the unit should be unplugged from the power socket, and any excess water to be drained out & kept ready.
- - For ACs, the unit (both indoor & outdoor units) needs to be un-installed by customer before pickup. Our delivery agent will not be able to help or arrange for un-installation.
- - For TVs, all accessories should be un-plugged, TV needs to be dismounted from any fixtures and kept ready, with the TV remote.
- - The old product should match the details entered while placing the order (with Exchange) and will be validated by the delivery associate, i.e. will check if it powers on.
WHAT HAPPENS IF CONDITION OF MY OLD PRODUCT THAT IS TO BE EXCHANGED DOES NOT MATCH THE CRITERIA ?
In case if the old/ exchanged product does not meet the above conditions, it gets rejected and the entire order would be cancelled.
ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR VALIDATING OLD PRODUCT THE SAME FOR EXCHANGE ORDERS PLACED AT CROMA STORES ?
The conditions described here are only for orders placed on Croma.com
CAN I PROVIDE ONE ADDRESS FOR PICKUP AND ANOTHER FOR DELIVERY ?
No, the address has to be the same as we will pickup and deliver simultaneously.
HOW WILL MY OLD PRODUCT BE SENT TO CROMA AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE NEW PRODUCT ?
The delivery agent will pick up the old product at the time of delivery of the new product, provided the details and condition of the old product match with the details and conditions entered at the time of placing the order (with Exchange).
The delivery of the new product will be completed once the agent successfully completes the verification and collects the old product from the customer.
ARE ALL ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES AND PACKAGING REQUIRED TO BE HANDED OVER FOR MY OLD PRODUCT ?
It is preferred that you provide your old product with original accessories and packaging. However, it is not mandatory. You may handover the old/ exchanged product without the original accessories and packaging, provided your product meets all the other requirements explained above.
CAN I EXCHANGE MORE THAN ONE OLD PRODUCT TO BUY A NEW ONE ?
No, you can exchange only one old product for each purchase.
I HAVE AN OLD MOBILE PHONE, CAN I EXCHANGE IT TO BUY A NEW PRODUCT FROM ANOTHER CATEGORY ?
No, you can only exchange same category products for any new purchase with Exchange, e.g. exchange an old mobile for new mobile.
CAN I EXCHANGE A DIFFERENT PRODUCT FROM THE ONE DESCRIBED BY ME AT THE TIME OF PLACING THE ORDER ?
No, once the order is placed, you can only exchange the old product that was described at the time of placing the order. The Exchange value is applied based on the details of the old product that was entered by you. If the details entered do not match the old product that is handed over at the time of delivery, the entire order will be cancelled and you will not receive delivery of the new product.
CAN I GET MY OLD PRODUCT BACK AFTER HANDING OVER ?
No, once the old product has been picked up from you, we will not be able to return it as it would have already been processed by our third-party liquidation partners.
THE BATTERY OF MY PHONE IS DEAD AND THE DEVICE ONLY TURNS ON WHEN CONNECTED TO A CHARGER, WILL MY DEVICE BE ACCEPTED UNDER THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM ?
We do not accept such devices for exchange.
HOW DO I FIND MY IMEI NUMBER TO EXCHANGE MY MOBILE PHONE ?
Dial *#06# from the phone that you want to exchange to identify its IMEI number. The IMEI number can also be found inside the battery compartment, in phone settings or on the original packaging of the mobile phone.
HOW WILL I GET REFUND FOR MY OLD/ EXCHANGED DEVICE IF I HAVE RETURNED THE ORDER ?
In case you have returned your order and are awaiting a refund, subject to Croma's return policy, you will receive a Gift Card (issued by QwikCilver) equivalent to the Exchange value, and the refund amount for the remaining order amount will be refunded to your original payment method as per the return policy.
DO I PAY ANY ADDITIONAL FEE FOR AVAILING THE EXCHANGE OFFER ?
No additional fee is charged for availing exchange at the moment.
