Reads your heart from a touch

ASUS VivoWatch 6 Aero is a smartband with blood pressure monitoring and ECG

At a glance, VivoWatch 6 Aero might seem like just another sleek fitness band. It’s light, stylish, and has all the familiar fitness and health tracking features we’ve come to expect. But give it a second look, and you’ll realise it’s doing something that was demanded by many, but done by close to zero brands in the industry. This is the first smart band in the world that can take both your blood pressure and ECG, from your fingertip. No bulky cuffs. No wires hanging off your arm. Just a quick touch, and you’re in.

A small gesture with big implications

It’s not just the what, it’s the how that matters when it comes to making this rather simple looking fitness accessory special. Thanks to an innovative sputter deposition process (yes, that’s a mouthful), ASUS has managed to embed PPG and ECG sensors into a rather small and featherlight, 27-gram wristband. As a result, you get touch-and-go cardiovascular monitoring that’s surprisingly intuitive. Whether you’re in a meeting or mid-run, you can get a read on your heart health in seconds.

Visually, the 1.1-inch AMOLED screen doesn’t shout for attention, but it delivers crisp colors, smooth swipes, and just enough real estate to keep data accessible without being overwhelming. Under the hood, you’ve got a full suite of health tracking essentials including sleep, SpO₂, heart rate, steps, calories. Nothing groundbreaking there, until you pair it with ASUS Health AI 5.0.

And that’s where this wearable starts feeling more like a health companion than a gadget. ASUS’s proprietary AI learns from your behaviour and activity patterns. It pulls from biosensor data in real-time, surfaces daily insights, and paints a more contextual, evolving picture of your well-being. Less “you slept for 6 hours” and more “your sleep quality dipped, here’s why that might matter today.”

Add 5ATM water resistance, a week-long battery, and swappable straps in black or pink, and it’s clear this thing’s built for real life and not just gym selfies.
