CMF is pushing out a fresh software update for its Phone 2 Pro, bringing a handful of very specific fixes aimed squarely at your social media habits.
The new firmware, version Nothing OS V3.2-250903-2153, is making its way to devices now, though it’s being rolled out in phases, meaning you might have to wait a little longer than your friend to get it. Let’s check out everything that’s new.
Nothing OS V3.2 update rolling out now
Of course, the usual promises of improved system stability and better network performance are on board. But the update also gets refreshingly granular with its biggest fixes. For one, the changelog highlights optimised power usage during WhatsApp video calls.
The camera is also getting some love, particularly for how it behaves within other popular apps.
CMF says the phone should now generate less heat when the camera is active in WhatsApp, making those extended video calls a lot more comfortable to handle without your phone feeling like a hot potato.

Another oddly specific but appreciated fix is improved image clarity in some Facebook camera situations. While “some situations” is a bit vague, it suggests a remedy for those moments when the in-app camera just isn’t delivering the goods.
The update is rolling out over the air now and should reach all CMF Phone 2 Pro users over the coming days. If you’re feeling particularly eager, you can always dive into your phone’s system settings menu to check for it manually.
CMF notes your phone might feel a bit warm during the installation process, but this is nothing unusual. It’s temporary and temps will return to normal shortly after the update is finished.
