Some games are born out of hype, while others emerge from redemption. FAU-G: Domination, the newly launched mobile shooter from Dot9 Games and nCore Games, might just be straddling both worlds. The game was unveiled at the World Audio Video Entertainment Summit 2025 (WAVES 2025), and backed by actor Akshay Kumar, the game seeks to course-correct, and then take the world of mobile gaming by storm.
The new favourite battle royale?
Available now on Android via the Google Play Store and published by Nazara Publishing, FAU-G: Domination signals a second wind for a franchise that launched with promise but stumbled under the weight of expectation. This time, the developers have opted for substance over sentimentality, delivering a military-themed first-person shooter that feels tighter, bolder, and more technically ambitious.
The game is structured around classic multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch, 1v1, Weapon Domination, and Sniper among them. But where it finds its edge is in the setting. Maps draw from real Indian locales including Mumbai’s dense sprawl, the sun-scorched dunes of Jaisalmer, Chennai’s coastal chaos, and Delhi’s urban grit. These environments don’t just provide aesthetic flair, they ground the game in a cultural identity too often missing from the genre.

Weapon variety is another notable upgrade. Over 40 firearms and melee options, from pistols to knives, offer players a sandbox of lethality, while the underlying mechanics suggest an evolving competitive spine.
Tied to the Bharat Ke Veer initiative, the game pays homage to India’s fallen soldiers, a mission close to Kumar’s heart. Whether FAU-G: Domination can sustain long-term engagement remains to be seen. But for now, it’s taken a bold first step that is anchored in purpose, layered in design, and finally, ready for the firefight.
