Fujifilm’s retro-style tiny camera comes to India

Last month, Fujifilm introduced a new retro-style camera, and what immediately stood out was its palm-friendly design. It was called the Fujifilm X half compact camera, and it has now arrived in India.

What’s special about the camera is that it packs an old-school design and yet has modern features, like a 1-inch sensor. It also boasts two screens and has Film Simulation colours. Intrigued? Here’s everything you need to know.

All about the Fujifilm X half

Fujifilm X half boasts a design similar to old-school cameras. However, it has a 1-inch sensor, letting maximum natural light pass through for better and brighter images.

The vintage-style camera is capable of shooting 18MP JPEG photos in a 3×4 vertical format. Unfortunately, despite the large sensor, it doesn’t let you shoot RAW.

The camera has two screens, one dedicated screen for choosing filters, which are basically Film Simulation colour effects, like Astia and Provia. The other display acts as a viewfinder.
