HP has expanded its gaming lineup in India with the launch of the HyperX Omen 15, a new 15-inch gaming laptop aimed squarely at performance-focused players.
Available online and via some retail channels, the Omen 15 brings together Intel’s latest HX-series processor, NVIDIA’s new RTX 50 Series GPUs, and a high-refresh display in a chassis that leans into competitive gaming needs rather than flashy gimmicks. Here’s everything you need to know about HP’s newest gaming laptop.
Built for speed, tuned for play
At the heart of the HyperX Omen 15 is Intel’s Core i7-14650HX processor, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics delivering up to 170W of total graphics power. HP is clearly targeting high frame rates and stable performance, especially for esports and fast-paced shooters.

The 15-inch display refreshes at 180Hz and pushes brightness up to 500 nits, making it well suited for both indoor gaming setups and brighter rooms. Input responsiveness gets a boost from an 8K polling rate and a claimed 0.125ms response time, which should appeal to players who care about latency as much as raw horsepower.
Cooling is handled by HP’s Omen Tempest system, which includes self-cleaning fans designed to reduce dust buildup over time. There’s also One-Touch Omen AI, which automatically tweaks system settings based on usage patterns, keeping things simple for users who would rather play than tinker.
HP HyperX Omen 15 price and availability
The HP HyperX Omen 15 is now on sale in India, with prices starting at Rs 1,49,999. Launch offers include exchange bonuses of up to Rs 30,000, instant bank discounts of up to Rs 20,000, and no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months.
