OnePlus Nord CE 4: Everything we know ahead of launch

After the launch of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is set to be the brand’s next smartphone. Part of the mid-range Nord-series, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is expected to pack value-for-money specifications, and the phone is set to launch next week on April 1.

However, thanks to several leaks ahead of the launch, we already have a fair idea of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. Here’s what to expect from the OnePlus Nord CE 4.

OnePlus Nord CE 4: What we know so far

Some of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 specifications have been confirmed by OnePlus directly. These include the presence of a 6.7-inch AMOLED display panel on the phone, with a 93.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will sport 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with up to 256GB storage. This is also coupled with a 100W wired fast charging support, which the brand claims can charge the device from 1 to 100 per cent in about 29 minutes.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 leaked specifications

Some key details were missing from the specifications OnePlus officially shared – namely the battery capacity and the camera. But, recent leaks suggest that the smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup. This will include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with support for optical image stabilisation. OnePlus will also add a secondary 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is also expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery and the latest Android 14 operating system out-of-the-box. Do note that these specifications are not official yet, and we should know concrete details about the camera and battery closer to or during the launch of the phone on April 1 next week.
