OnePlus Pad Lite launches in India with a large screen, big battery

OnePlus is expanding its tablet lineup, and this time, it’s targeting the ultra-budget-conscious consumer with the brand new OnePlus Pad Lite. This tablet is positioned as a practical companion for entertainment and learning. It will be available for purchase starting August 1, 2025, across major online and offline retailers. Let’s check out what it has to offer, and of course, that ridiculously low pricing.

OnePlus Pad Lite specs and price

The Pad Lite sports an 11-inch LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This goes up to 500 nits and supports 10-bit colours. OnePlus is also touting its “Eye Comfort” technology to reduce blue light and screen flicker.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 processor. It’s not exactly a top-of-the-line chip but should still handle everyday tasks and light gaming without much fuss. This is paired with either 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the Wi-Fi-only model, or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the Wi-Fi and 4G LTE variant.

In terms of design, the tablet borrows plenty from the company’s flagship offering, the OnePlus Pad, complete with a circular camera bump aligned towards the center. The tablet comes in only one colour called “Aero Blue,” though this does feature a special finish that OnePlus likes to call “sandblast”, designed to offer a secure grip. The tablet also maintains a relatively slim profile, measuring 7.39mm, and weighs 530g.

One of the standout features is the massive 9,340 mAh battery, which OnePlus claims can deliver up to 80 hours of music playback or 11 hours of video streaming. When it does run out of juice, the 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging should get it back up and running relatively quickly.

As for sound output, the Pad Lite gets a quad-speaker system certified for Hi-Res Audio, featuring OnePlus’s “Omnibearing Sound Field” technology that adapts the sound based on the screen’s orientation. The company is also emphasising seamless connectivity features for those already in its ecosystem, such as Screen Mirroring and a shared clipboard with its own phones.
