Realme phone with a massive 10,000mAh+ battery could launch soon

Realme is gearing up to unveil a mobile phone boasting a battery capacity exceeding its already impressive 10,000mAh prototype, with the official unveiling slated for August 27.

This news comes after the company teased the arrival of something even bigger than its concept phone, which was showcased in May and featured a substantial 10,000mAh battery built with silicon-anode technology.

Brace yourselves, battery life just got real(me)

The company dropped a playful hint, declaring that ‘THE BIGGEST JUST GOT EVEN BIGGER’, suggesting they are pushing the boundaries of battery size even further.

This wouldn’t be the first time Realme has made waves in charging tech. Just last August, during their 828 Fan Festival, they introduced a blistering 320W SuperSonic Charge technology capable of juicing up a 4,420mAh battery in a mere four and a half minutes.

A teaser video starring Chase Xu, Realme’s vice president and president of global marketing, employed a magnifying glass visual to comically emphasise the ever-growing need for more battery life in our devices. The video culminated in the appearance of “1x000mAh,” strongly implying a battery capacity of at least 11,000mAh.

Adding fuel to the fire, Xu stated in a post, “Battery limits broken—again. Finally meets my standards! But how big, exactly? August 27, you’ll see.”

While the prototype 10,000mAh phone was notable for its relatively slim 8.5mm profile and 212-gram weight, achieved partly by shrinking the motherboard to a tiny 23.4mm, it remains to be seen how Realme will manage the dimensions of this even larger battery.

More details are expected to surface in the days leading up to the official announcement next Wednesday. It looks like folks who are tired of constantly hunting for a plug socket might just have their prayers answered. We’ll just have to wait and see when this model will make it to India, if it does at all, so stay tuned.
