realme has just pulled the wraps off its latest true wireless earbuds in India, the Buds Air7 Pro. With a price that’s expected to stay comfortably in the mid-range, this new pair brings in features usually reserved for more premium territory and have now made their way into a more democratised mid and low range when it comes to the pricing. These include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), hi-res audio streaming, and battery life that goes well beyond a regular a couple of workday’s use.
What makes the Buds Air7 Pro stand out?
First up, the 53dB hybrid ANC. That’s a big number. And what it translates to in real life is the ability to drown out the chaos of your daily commute for the most part, or even the buzzing AC during late-night focus sessions. Add to that the support for LHDC 5.0 (Low Latency High-Definition Audio Codec), and you’ve got earbuds ready to stream audio in high-res quality, without lag, without compromise.
Sound-wise, realme has packed in coaxial dual drivers, designed to separate the bass and treble paths. So whether it’s a moody Arijit track or a punchy EDM drop, the layers come through, clean and immersive.
If you are worried about the battery on your earbuds, then you won’t have to here. With up to 40 hours of total playback (with the case), and support for fast charging, the Buds Air7 Pro is ready for week-long hustle with minimal pit stops.
As for the extras, which are really important in day to day use, IP55 water resistance for sweaty workouts or unexpected drizzles. Dual-device connection so you can flip between your laptop and phone effortlessly. Transparency mode for when you need to be aware of your surroundings without taking them off. The design of these earbuds is also a steer away for realme’s Buds Air6 Pro which came with a polarising glossy finish on the earbuds and the case.
