Hot on the heels of the launch of the Galaxy A26, Samsung has now launched a new 6GB + 128GB model in India. The phone originally landed in India in March in two storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Now, Samsung is offering a new storage variant for customers which is Rs 1,500 cheaper. The Samsung Galaxy A26 ships with a Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 1380 chipset, and an IP67 rating. Let’s check out the price of the new model and recap its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A26 key specs and features
The Samsung Galaxy A26 flaunts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display which promises deep blacks and high contrast colours. It comes with an FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
The phone is powered by the company’s in-house Exynos 1380 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Of course, now customers get a new storage variant – 6GB + 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A26 comes with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Unlike most other phones in this price range, you get a whopping six years of OS updates and security patches, making your purchase future-proof.
For optics, the phone comes with a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, you’ve got a 13MP shooter up front. The phone packs a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging that promises all-day battery life.
Samsung Galaxy A26 price in India
The new 6GB + 128GB model of the Samsung Galaxy A26 will set you back by Rs 23,499, which is Rs 1,500 cheaper than the previous base 8GB + 128GB model which costs Rs 24,999. The top-end 8GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 27,999.
The phone is available on the Samsung India website, croma.com, and several offline stores. It comes in Black, Mint, White, and Peach colourways.
