The game is back on, and the end is in sight. Netflix just released the first teaser for Squid Game’s third and final season, and while it’s as cryptic as you’d expect, it’s already setting the internet on edge.
A lone gumball machine, glossy, spinning, and unsettling, takes center stage in the short clip, proving once again that Squid Game doesn’t need gore to get under your skin.
Squid Game final season to premier on June 27
According to Netflix, Season 3 picks up right after the chaos of Season 2’s finale. Gi-hun (Player 456) is done running. He’s stepping back into the arena, not to win, but to burn it all to the ground.
Haunted by the death of Jung-bae (Player 390) and the betrayal that came with it, Gi-hun will likely be angrier and bolder, while facing even greater threats. Chief among them? The Front Man, who’s now operating in disguise as the mysterious Player 001, infiltrating their rebellion from the inside.

Squid Game Season 3 premieres June 27, just six months after Season 2 dropped. Squid Game Season 3, the final season, can be streamed on Netflix in India.
And if you’re already mourning the end, don’t worry. The Squid Game universe isn’t going anywhere. Netflix is cooking up multiple spin-offs, including the already released Squid Game: Unleashed mobile game, and rumours of a Fincher-led series continue to swirl.
One thing’s certain, the final game is coming. And based on the teaser, it’s going to be sugar-coated, sinister, and absolutely unmissable.
