After months of cryptic posters and enough suspense to rival a Hawkins mystery board, the fog has finally lifted. Stranger Things Season 5 is officially on the calendar. Netflix unveiled the release date with a tantalising teaser that was revealed during TUDUM 2025. Here’s when the final season of Stranger Things will return to Netflix.
Stranger Things Season 5 release date revealed
The final chapter of this much-loved sci-fi saga will roll out in three parts: Volume 1 which will drop on November 26, 2025, Volume 2 which will make its way to Netflix on Christmas – December 25, 2025, and finally The Grand Finale on December 31, 2025.
It’s like the story is timed to turn the year’s end into a thrill ride. While most of us are busy wrapping up the year’s work and planning getaways, Stranger Things is gearing up to pull us back into the shadowy depths of Hawkins, and the Upside Down.
The teaser itself is more of a tribute montage of everything from Seasons 1-4. But it gave fans just enough to stir the pot. A fleeting glimpse of familiar faces like Finn Wolfhard’s Mike appeared, but the real meat of Season 5 is still under wraps.
If you were hoping for major reveals or even hints of Eleven’s fate, then you’re out of luck because they’re keeping it locked tight.
Netflix is playing the long game this time. Instead of a binge-worthy dump, they’re stretching the suspense with each volume, building anticipation. Come November, Hawkins will call us back to its eerie streets and shadowy secrets. And with each volume, we’ll edge closer to the end of an era.
