Xiaomi is attempting to shake up the Indian smart TV space once again. The company today confirmed it will launch its new Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro Series on May 8, 2025, further expanding its aggressively priced premium lineup. Available via mi.com and select e-commerce platforms, the FX Pro Series could offer a compelling combination of vivid visuals, smart features, and gamer-friendly performance, all built on the Fire TV OS.
Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro Series TVs: Everything you need to know
In a rare cross-platform move for Xiaomi’s TV ecosystem, the FX Pro Series opts for Fire TV OS instead of Google TV. That means built-in Alexa voice control, which lets users navigate and search for content hands-free. This is a notable pivot for Xiaomi, whose smart TVs typically lean into Android TV.
The integration likely signals Xiaomi’s intent to offer a more seamless experience for users, with Alexa now being a household staple for many smart homes in India.
According to Xiaomi, the FX Pro Series emphasises “FantastiQ” colors. It claims brighter and more saturated colours, with more realistic visuals. A Cinematic Mode joins the lineup, promising better tonal depth and enhanced realism for movies and TV shows. While Xiaomi hasn’t revealed full panel specs yet, it’s likely the FX Pro shares DNA with the existing X Pro QLED 2025 Edition, which supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Filmmaker Mode.
A Game Booster Mode is also on deck, promising higher refresh rates and reduced input lag. These features are becoming increasingly common on smart TVs angling for the console gamer crowd. Under the hood, Xiaomi says the FX Pro series runs on a fast processor designed to minimise buffering and UI lag.

Based on current-gen Xiaomi TVs, we expect a quad-core A55 CPU, Mali-G52 GPU, and 2GB RAM with 32GB storage, which should be plenty for downloading apps and running games or 4K streams.
Audio is another focus area, with Xiaomi touting clear vocals and deep bass, likely through a tuned stereo speaker setup. Whether there’s Dolby Atmos support remains to be seen.
Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro Series TVs pricing TBD, but expect a budget punch
Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the price tags yet, but we can make an educated guess. The Xiaomi X Pro QLED 2025 Edition starts at Rs 31,999 for the 43-inch variant, with the 65-inch model priced at Rs 64,999. The FX Pro Series is likely to follow a similar structure, possibly slotting in as a Fire TV alternative for the same price tier.
The company has been on a spree of TV refreshes in 2025, pushing out more content-forward, spec-rich televisions at aggressive prices. It’s a formula that’s worked well for it in the smartphone world. Whether Fire TV fans will embrace the FX Pro over its Google TV siblings is the real test here.
