The Apple iPhone 17e launch date is expected to fall in February 2026, lining up with Apple’s usual spring refresh. Last year’s iPhone 16e arrived on February 19, and if history repeats, we should see its successor around the same time.
This new model is tipped to be more than just a refresh. It’s positioned as the affordable sibling in the iPhone 17 family, but with upgrades that could make it feel closer to the Pro models than ever before.
iPhone 17e expected specifications and features
Leaks suggest Apple will finally bring a 120Hz ProMotion display to the 17e, replacing the 60Hz screen that held back the iPhone 16e. Powering it will be the A19 Bionic chip, the same processor found in the iPhone 17, ensuring smooth performance and support for Apple’s latest Intelligence features.
The phone is expected to come in 128GB and 512GB storage options, paired with a larger battery and faster charging. On the camera front, Apple is likely sticking to a 48MP main sensor and a 12MP selfie shooter, a setup that should comfortably handle day-to-day photography, video calls, and content creation.
Apple iPhone 17e price and launch date in India
As mentioned before, the Apple iPhone 17e launch date is expected to fall in February 2026. The iPhone 17e is tipped to sit between Rs 60,000 and Rs 65,000 in India, making it around Rs 20,000 less than the standard iPhone 17.
For perspective, the iPhone 16e launched at Rs 59,900, so Apple seems set to keep this model in the same ballpark while justifying a small bump with bigger upgrades.

With a faster screen, flagship-grade performance, and a friendlier price tag, the iPhone 17e could be the sweet spot for anyone wanting the Apple experience without going all-in on a Pro.
