That figure from the headline requires stacking a few different offers together, but it’s not that complicated. You’ll need to qualify for the Student Teacher Offer first, which applies an 11 per cent discount and brings the price down to Rs 88,911.

From there, you can trade in an old device for an Exchange Bonus worth Rs 10,000, plus the exchange value itself can add another Rs 13,000 depending on what you’re giving up. Finally, there’s a Rs 10,000 bank cashback that gets you to that Rs 55,911 figure.

If EMIs are more your speed, you can finance this at Rs 2,746 per month over 24 months with no interest. The effective price on that plan works out to Rs 65,911 after the student discount and exchange offers.
