Apple has just refreshed its MacBook Air lineup by launching the new MacBook Air M4. The latest MacBook Air succeeds the M3-powered MacBook Air and comes in two screen sizes. It also comes in a new Sky Blue paintjob, giving users a fresh colour choice when purchasing the device. Here’s everything you need to know.
MacBook Air M4 key features, price, and availability
The all-new MacBook Air comes in two screen sizes – 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch. Both variants have a Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness. Apple says that its screen supports 1 billion colours and has up to 2x the resolution of comparable PC laptops.
This 2025 version of the MacBook Air is powered by Apple’s M4 chipset, which has a 10-core CPU and up to 10-core GPU. Apple says that it is 3x faster than the M1-powered MacBook Air. It has 16GB of base unified memory but users also get a 32GB memory variant. It runs macOS Sequoia and has Apple Intelligence.
The device has a 12MP Center Stage camera for FaceTime calls. It is equipped with a Magic Keyboard and a Touch ID sensor for security. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and two Thunderbolt ports.

Further, it has a three-mic array with enhanced voice clarity feature for audio and video calls. The speakers support Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio for an immersive experience.
The new M4 MacBook Air is priced starting at Rs 99,900 for the 13-inch variant and Rs 1,24,900 for the 15-inch variant. It will be available for purchase in Sky Blue, Starlight, and Silver colours from March 12.
