Apple’s M5-powered MacBook Pro and iPad Pro on sale in India

Apple just dropped its new 2025 refresh for MacBook Pro 14-inch and iPad Pro in India, and both machines are now meaner than ever, thanks to the new M5 chips under the hood. The updated processor brings a massive leap in AI performance, faster graphics, and battery life that could outlast your workday.

MacBook Pro 14-inch

The 2025 MacBook Pro 14-inch looks familiar, but it’s what’s under the hood that counts with this one. The new M5 chip features a 10-core GPU with a Neural Accelerator tucked into each core, giving AI-heavy workflows up to 3.5 times more performance than before.

That means quicker text-to-image generation, faster video enhancement, and snappier responses from large language models running locally. Apple’s also promising up to 1.6x faster graphics and 20 percent better multithreaded performance compared to the M4 version.

Battery life hits a ridiculous 24 hours, and it delivers the same punch whether plugged in or running on battery. The Liquid Retina XDR display remains a stunner with 1600 nits peak brightness. This is also the first Pro to come with macOS Tahoe out of the box, bringing a fresh design with smarter Spotlight, Live Activities, and Apple Intelligence baked right in.

The M5-powered MacBook Pro 14-inch starts at Rs 1,69,900 in India, and is available in silver and space black. It goes on sale today (October 22).

The 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine make this thing a pocket studio for creators. This means the tablet is now capable of real-time diffusion-based image generation and 3D rendering that’s up to 6.7 times faster.

There are physical changes with the model too. For one, it’s now thinner than ever at just 5.1 mm on the 13-inch model. Moreover, the Ultra Retina XDR display has gone full OLED, with 1600 nits peak HDR brightness. Of course, the tablet also boots into iPadOS 26 with its sleek redesign, new windowing system, and smarter multitasking.

Wi-Fi 7 and Apple’s new C1X modem make sure you’re never lagging, while the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro turn it into a proper creative workstation.

The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900, and the 13-inch version begins at Rs 1,29,900. Accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro are sold separately. Sale kicks off today (October 22), just like the MacBook.
