Apple might be announcing new products this week; here’s what we know so far

March could acquaint us with new Apple products, and according to a report published by MacRumours.com, it could be as early as this week. While the launch is slated to be a website-specific launch, there seems to be no clue or sign of an upcoming Apple event anywhere on the company’s social or digital platforms. However, if you’re as excited to see what this brings for you, we have listed possible speculations and rumours around the announcement. Here’s what you should know.

Apple Spring launch: What should you expect?

According to a report published by Chief Correspondent Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, the release will be a relatively ‘quieter’ release. Further, it will only be accompanied by online videos and marketing campaigns, if at all.

He goes on to mention how there aren’t many details revealed about the launch, but Apple could be looking at introducing the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, and MacBook Air models. Along with these, anticipating users could also find the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil announced for select iPad models.

The new iPad variants could feature the M2 and M3 chips along with OLED displays. They could also have significantly thinner designs and possible additions, such as MagSafe wireless charging. On the accessories front, the Magic Keyboard could now come with a larger trackpad, and users can expect an updated Apple Pencil.

Alternatively, the new announcement could also be new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus colours, and/or new Apple Watch bands. Several rumours also hint at the possible release of a new Apple TV or a HomePod with a screen; however, the readiness of these products at the moment seems unlikely.

Lastly, Gurman also mentions how there could be a ‘special’ iOS 17.4 release but states that it could be pushed to the end of March. The landmark release is set to have iterations based on EU regulations, along with sideloading of apps and new emojis.
