Asus launched the Vivobook 14 in India with AI chops and all-day battery

Asus just dropped its latest AI-powered laptop in India, and it’s not your average budget machine. Say hello to the Vivobook 14 (X1407QA), a sleek 14-inch notebook that’s packing military-grade toughness, Snapdragon power, and serious AI prowess.

Wrapped in a portable design and armed with a battery that promises up to 29 hours of juice, this one’s clearly gunning for the hybrid hustler who needs both brains and brawn. Here’s all you need to know about the newly launched Asus Vivobook 14.

Asus Vivobook 14: Everything you need to know

Let’s start with the design. The Vivobook 14 weighs just 1.49kg and is 1.79cm thin, but don’t let the featherweight build fool you. It’s MIL-STD 810H certified, meaning it’s built to take a few knocks.

It features a 14-inch Full HD+ display with a 16:10 aspect ratio for more vertical screen real estate. TÜV Rheinland certification keeps your eyes happy during long hours, and a 180-degree hinge adds extra flexibility whether you’re typing up a report or casually propping it up to binge Stranger Things.

Under the hood, the Vivobook 14 is powered by the Snapdragon X1 26 100 processor, paired with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU that delivers a staggering 45 TOPS (that’s trillions of operations per second) to fuel all your AI needs, from running Microsoft Copilot to generating visuals or transcriptions in real time.

Asus claims up to 8448 MHz LPDDR5x RAM support and 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, to ensure multitasking doesn’t slow you down.

On the security front, this laptop doesn’t hold back. You get a Full HD IR camera for Windows Hello, a privacy shutter, Pluton security chip, and Passkey support for password-free logins.

Add to that Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, dual USB 4.0 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a backlit ErgoSense keyboard, and you’ve got a future-proof setup that means business.

Oh, and that Copilot key on the keyboard? It’s your one-tap shortcut to everything generative AI on Windows 11. Rounding it all off is a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos for that cinematic kick.
