Beats drops sleek new charging cables in India

Beats (owned by Apple) has launched a new set of charging cables in India, aimed at users looking for reliable everyday connectivity options. The lineup includes reinforced, durable cables in three different formats – USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning – covering most modern Android and Apple phones, accessories, laptops, and older Apple devices.

Beats Cables drop in India

Beats Cables have a woven exterior, making them durable and resistant to tangling. Each cable measures 1.5 or 2 metres in length, which offers more flexibility than standard-length cables for charging across rooms, desks, or even during travel.

The individual cables are priced starting at Rs 1,900, and for those looking to pick up more than one, Beats is also offering two-pack bundles (USB-C or USB-A, both in Bolt Black) for Rs 3,500. It’s worth noting that power adapters are not included in the box, so users will have to use their existing wall chargers or purchase one separately.

A growing accessories portfolio

This new release marks another addition to Beats’ accessory portfolio, which typically focuses on audio gear. While Beats is better known for its headphones and earbuds, the brand has been gradually expanding its range to include cables and charging accessories.

The cables support fast charging up to 60W and are capable of data transfer, syncing, and lossless audio streaming. They are cleanly designed cables that may appeal to those who prefer their accessories to match within the Apple ecosystem or want a slightly more stylish alternative to generic cables.

Beats also claims that the new cables come in 100 per cent plant-based packaging made from recycled fibre and other materials from sustainable forests.

Beats Cables retail availability starts April 18

The Beats cables will be available across retail stores in India beginning Thursday, April 18. They will be sold exclusively on Apple’s official website. There are four vibrant shades – Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy, and Rapid Red. The cables offer a branded alternative for those who are already invested in the Beats or Apple ecosystem and want uniformity in their setup.
