One of the factors that made smartphones ubiquitous and essential is high-speed internet connectivity. 4G was a start, but it’s 5G that unlocks the true potential of a low-latency, always-on, high-speed internet connection. To take advantage of such a network, you need a 5G phone, and thankfully, almost all phones sold to day are 5G devices. If you’re looking to pick one up today, here are some of the best 5G phones in India in 2026.

Google Pixel 10 5G
When on-time updates and the camera are your priorities, you just can’t go wrong with a Google Pixel device. The one we recommend is the 10, which offers both a fantastic rear camera array and software updates before just about anyone else in the smartphone world. The Pixel 10 retails at Rs 74,999 for a 12/256 GB variant and is a great buy for those seeking a premium Android experience.
Apple iPhone 17
In the Apple camp, we have the iPhone 17 for Rs 82,999. This base model iPhone is finally worth picking up thanks to support for a 120 Hz display and 256 GB storage. The A19 chip that powers the phone is one of the very best you can get, 5G connectivity comes courtesy of a custom-made Apple modem, and the cameras are superb. The iPhone 17 is easily the best value for people who love Apple devices.
Vivo T4x
On the budget end you might want to consider the Vivo T4x. It retails at Rs 16,499 but offers quite a lot at the price, notably a 50 MP primary camera. The battery is also quite massive at 6,500 mAh, and it supports 44W Flash Charge. Your money gets you a generous 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
OnePlus Nord CE4
For Rs 21,999 you can pick up the OnePlus Nord CE4 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. That’s a great price for a 5G phone with a powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and a 50 MP rear camera, not to mention the large 5,500 mAh battery and support for 100W fast charging. A great all-rounder that will satisfy the connectivity requirements of most people.
Redmi 15C 5G
The Redmi 15C is one of the cheapest 5G phones you can get that also happens to have a 50MP camera. For Rs 12,499 you’re also getting a 6,000 mAh battery with 33W Turbo Charging, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and support for features like AI face unlock and smart charging. You can spend 3K more for an upgrade to 8GB RAM, which we would recommend.
There are plenty of 5G phones to choose from so your choice should largely come down to personal preference, use-case, and of course budget. 2026 smartphones are all quite capable of supporting our increasingly digitised and hyper-connected lives.
