Caviar has unveiled what it is calling the world’s first luxury humanoid robot, a gold-heavy reimagining of the Unitree G1 platform that looks less like something built for a factory floor and more like it belongs in a private collection. Named Aladdin, the Caviar luxury robot is a commission-only concept that blends serious robotics with ornate design inspired by Arab culture and art.
This is obviously not a consumer product in any conventional sense. Aladdin is positioned as a collectible, aimed at buyers who already think a gold-plated phone is a little understated.
Serious robotics, dressed for excess
At its core, Aladdin is still the Unitree G1, a humanoid robot standing 130cm tall and weighing around 35kg. It offers 23 degrees of freedom of motion, dynamic stabilisation and advanced actuators, enabling it to walk, gesture and perform fluid, natural movements. The engineering remains unchanged, which is arguably the most restrained part of the project.

Everything else has been redesigned. Caviar has replaced the standard exterior with a sculpted outer shell inspired by traditional Eastern garments such as the chapan and caftan.
Flowing forms, curved silhouettes and ceremonial detailing are intended to echo the robes worn by historical Arab nobility. Gold accents and precious stone inlays feature heavily, with each unit finished by hand. The result is a humanoid robot that looks like it’s designed to be admired rather than deployed.
A fairy tale reworked for collectors
Caviar frames Aladdin as a modern reinterpretation of One Thousand and One Nights. Instead of a genie emerging from a lamp, the company casts artificial intelligence as the animating force, turning the robot into a symbol of intelligence replacing magic. It is a neat metaphor, even if the real emphasis remains firmly on aesthetics.
Buyers are expected to play an active role in shaping the final design. Decorative motifs and symbolic elements are selected during the commissioning process, making each robot unique. Pricing and production timelines have not been disclosed and, unsurprisingly, are only available on request.
Aladdin marks Caviar’s latest expansion beyond luxury electronics and into artistic robotics, following recent releases such as a $12,000 chocolate egg hiding a gold smartphone and the Secret Love iPhone 17 Pro collection starting at $10,200.
