Anthropic really wants Claude to be the only app you ever need. The company has announced that nine popular productivity tools can now be used directly inside Claude’s chat interface.
These include Slack, Figma, Asana, and Canva. So now, you can draft messages, build project boards, or whip up presentations directly inside Claude without ever having to switch tabs.
The centre of your entire workflow
This whole thing is powered by something called the Model Context Protocol, or MCP. Anthropic launched that back in late 2024 as an open-source way for AI models to connect with external apps and data sources. It’s basically a universal translator between your chatbot and all the other software you rely on.
Now Claude is using it for the feature. The list of apps getting this treatment includes Amplitude for analytics charts, Box for document searching and previewing, Clay for company research and outreach drafting, Hex for data questions with interactive charts, and monday.com for project management. Salesforce is joining that lineup soon.
What makes this different from Claude’s existing connectors is that you’re not just pulling data anymore. You can actually interact with these apps the same way you would if you had them open in a separate window.
So if you ask Claude to create an Asana board for a project, it’ll pull relevant data from your team’s account, figure out the right timelines, and then show you a preview of what that board would look like. You can tweak everything right there before launching it.

The feature is live now on web and desktop for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. You can find all the interactive apps over at claude.ai/directory.
