DJI Osmo 360 arrives with support for native 8K 360-degree capture

DJI has introduced its first 360-degree camera. The all-new DJI Osmo 360 is designed to bring high-resolution panoramic capture to creators and travellers. The camera features two 1-inch sensors to capture native 8K video at up to 50fps and stills at up to 120 megapixels, all housed in a compact, rugged design that weighs just 183g.

If you are into action cameras and are planning to get one for yourself, you may want to stick around to know more about the new DJI Osmo 360.

What's special about the DJI Osmo 360?

The Osmo 360 is a compact and travel-friendly action camera that can shoot crisp stills and videos. It has the ability to shoot 8K videos at 30fps for up to 100 minutes on a full charge, thanks to its 1,950mAh battery. As mentioned above, it has two 1/1.1″ square sensors for a better low-light performance.

You also get support for 6K videos at 60fps and 4K videos at 100fps, and in single-lens mode, you can shoot 5K 60fps flat or 4K 120fps Boost Video with expanded field of view.

The action camera’s dual-lens system, paired with a fast f/1.9 aperture and 2.4 micron pixels, delivers 13.5 stops of dynamic range for low-light performance and vivid light-handling. DJI’s RockSteady 3.0 stabilisation and HorizonSteady in 360-degree mode keep footage smooth even in motion.
