Google Pixel 10 launch today: When and where to watch the livestream

As scheduled, Google is set to launch the Pixel 10 series globally later today. The Google Pixel 10 series is expected to comprise at least four models, likely including the foldable Pixel. The Pixel 10 lineup is expected to bring several upgrades, including a new Tensor SoC.

What to expect from the Pixel 10 series?

The Pixel 10 series will likely comprise four models. These include the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google won’t launch the Pixel 10a now, as the Pixel 9a is barely six months old. The latter should release early next year.

As for the key features, the Pixel 10 lineup may not get a design overhaul; rather, they are expected to get internal upgrades. One of the major internal upgrades could be the new Tensor G5 chipset, which could be more power-efficient.

The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro are expected to get a 6.3-inch display, whereas the Pixel 10 Pro XL may get a 6.8-inch panel. The 10 Pro Fold may receive an 8-inch inner screen and a 6.4-inch outer display. Expect an IP68 rating for the first time in a Google foldable, making it durable.

Cameras on the foldable and Pro models may also see an upgrade. Word is that the ultra-wide sensor may finally be a 48MP sensor, offering better details. The telephoto may go up to 5x optical zoom.

Expect a bunch of new AI features throughout the phones, all powered by Gemini. The series will also boot on Android 16 out of the box.

Lastly, expect new colours. The Pixel 10 may come in Moonstone and Jade shades. Google will also likely stick with Obsidian shade for those who love black.
