Haier has officially launched its new RHXG-H1 floor scrubber in China. This is a premium all-in-one cleaning machine that attacks dirt with some wild specifications. For the uninitiated, floor scrubbers are essentially what you get when you combine mops and vacuum cleaners into a single home appliance.
Multiple brands in India offer these devices, but this one’s unique due to a few standout features. One of these is its aggressive approach to hair.
All about the Haier RHXG-H1 floor scrubber
Haier built in a dual-row diamond blade comb system designed to shred hair strands up to 50cm long before they can become a tangled mess in the brush roll. A supporting golden comb structure with 108 teeth intercepts hairs before they even reach the nozzle.
The H1 also gives you a sort of superpower for spotting messes. It uses green light dust detection to make fine dust and debris glow in low-light areas – like under your bed. Another highlight is its absolutely bonkers 20,000Pa of suction power, which is generated by a high-performance motor developed in-house.
Its wet cleaning capabilities are just as sophisticated. A system Haier calls the Golden Water Film Precision Control 2.0 ensures the roller gets an even film of water for cleaning without leaving slippery streaks. The company claims it leaves less than 0.5 grams of water residue per square metre. The brush even retracts for three seconds after shutdown to collect any remaining drips.

When the job is done, the H1’s dock washes the brush with 75°C hot water and offers two drying options – a five-minute blast at 85°C or a gentler 20-minute cycle. It also uses electrolysed water for a claimed sterilisation rate of 99.99%. The practical design allows the scrubber to fold flat 180 degrees, making it easy to slide under furniture.
Lastly, a 5,000mAh battery provides enough juice for 50 minutes of continuous use, which is just enough to cover up to 400 square metres. The RHXG-H1 is currently available for 2,099 yuan, which is roughly Rs 25,393. There’s no word on an Indian availability yet, but expect it to cost dearer here.
