iQOO has announced its latest range of tablets, dubbed the iQOO Pad 5. The range includes the iQOO Pad 5 and the iQOO Pad 5 Pro, both meant for gamers and those with a heavy usage.

What's special about the iQOO Pad 5 series?
The iQOO Pad 5 features a 12.1-inch display with a 2.8K resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels. The LCD panel has 900 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay.
The iQOO Pad 5 Pro, on the other hand, has a larger 13-inch LCD screen with a 3.1K resolution of 3096 x 2064 pixels and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. The refresh rate stays the same as the Pad 5.
iQOO has gone for MediaTek chips for performance. The Pad 5 is powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, whereas the Pad 5 Pro is powered by the slightly more powerful Dimensity 9400+. There’s up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Both tablets have a single camera on the rear and front, with the Pad 5 boasting an 8MP and 5MP setup, respectively. The Pad 5 Pro has a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera.
Coming to the battery, the iQOO Pad 5 has a sizable 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Pad 5 Pro, on the other hand, houses a mammoth 12,050mAh cell with 66W fast charging support.

The duo boots on Android 15 OS out of the box and has OriginOS 5. They come in three colour options — Isle of Man, Grey Crystal, and Silver Wing.
The iQOO Pad 5 series is currently only available in China. However, it may arrive in India later. Until then, you can check out the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro and the OnePlus Pad 2. Both are mid-range tablets for performance and productivity.
