In addition to unveiling the Motorola Signature today, Motorola has also announced the Moto Watch. Among the highlights of this smartwatch is that it is powered by Polar, through which it promises accurate health tracking, and up to 13 days of battery life. Here’s everything you need to know about Motorola’s latest smartwatch.
Moto Watch key features and specs
The Moto Watch features a 1.4-inch circular OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, offering sharp visuals and support for more than 24 always-on display watch faces. The smartwatch is housed in a segment-only aluminium case and is available with stainless steel, vegan leather, and silicone strap options, giving users flexibility based on comfort and usage.
Health and fitness tracking are powered by Polar’s wellness platform. The company specialises in fitness analytics, training algorithms, and health tracking technologies for wearables.
Key health and fitness tracking features of the Moto Watch include smart workout tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, Nightly ANS recharge insights, continuous heart rate tracking, always-on SpO₂ monitoring, and dual-band GPS (L1/L5) for improved outdoor activity accuracy.
The Moto Watch includes a microphone and speaker, internal storage of 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC, and supports Bluetooth 5.3 with BLE. It is compatible with Android 12 and above.
Battery life is rated at up to 13 days, or up to seven days with the always-on display enabled, with fast charging delivering a full day’s power in just five minutes. It carries an IP68 certification along with a 1ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable for everyday wear and light water exposure.
