Motorola Edge 2025 offers a balance between sleek design and performance

Motorola has announced a new smartphone in its Edge series. Called the Motorola Edge 2025, the smartphone offers a good balance between sleek design and performance. It also comes with a few notable features.

What's special about the Motorola Edge 2025?

The Edge 2025 sports the standard Motorola design, featuring a sleek look and vibrant colours. There’s a 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED display with an FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ certification, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate for gaming and smooth scrolling. Again, for gaming, it has a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The device draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for additional storage.

As for optics, it is equipped with a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide unit that also doubles up as a macro camera. There’s OIS support on the main sensor for stable footage. For all-day usage, there’s a large 5,200mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It also has 15W wireless charging for top-ups.

The Edge 2025 has the following connectivity options: 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. It boots on Android 15 out of the box.

Moving to the price, the Motorola Edge 2025 costs $550 (about Rs 47,000). It will be available for purchase starting June 5 in the US.

In India, you can go for its alternatives, like the cheaper Motorola Edge 60 Pro and the Google Pixel 9a. The former is a mid-premium phone, whereas, the latter offers a stock Android experience.
