Nike and Lego partnership brings together bricks, kicks, and playful flicks

Sneakers and bricks. One fuels speed, the other sparks creativity. Together, they make a playground like no other. This summer, Nike and the Lego Group lace up for a global multi-year partnership, creating an amalgamation of sport and imagination in a celebration of movement, colour, and creativity. The message is simple – Just build it.

Leading the charge is the Lego Nike Dunk set, which consists of 1,180 pieces of sneaker culture in brick form. Dropping July 1, the buildable model includes stash compartments, colour-swappable laces, and even a minifig, B’Ball Head, to keep things fun on and off the court. It’s a tribute to the original Nike Dunk, first worn over four decades ago, reimagined through Lego’s iconic aesthetic.

And that’s just the warm-up

Kicking off August 1, Nike drops the Air Max Dn x Lego Collection, which is a bold lineup of footwear, apparel, and accessories. The classic Dunk Low gets the Lego treatment next, arriving September 1. Think bright blocks, bold prints, and sneaker silhouettes retooled with Lego studs and Minifigure flair. Every piece is engineered to celebrate kids’ active lifestyles and limitless creativity.

Helping bring the world of play to life is WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson. A lifelong Lego fan, Wilson is championing the campaign digitally, reimagining sport as a space for expression and joy. “Creativity and play helped me on the court, at school -everywhere,” she says. “I know this partnership can inspire kids and adults alike.”

Want in? Pre-orders for the Lego Nike Dunk set are live now at Lego.com/Nike. The retail price will be $99.99, which would equate to around Rs 8,500. As for the kicks, get ready to sprint to Nike.com this August.

Because when bricks meet bounce, it’s game on.
