Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro could be launching soon, as both devices have bagged fresh certifications. Rumours are rife that the Phone (4a) series will be unveiled in March in India and other markets. Therefore, it is natural that these devices are passing through multiple certifications ahead of launch. Here’s a look at the latest certification listings for both phones.
Nothing Phone (4a) series bags multiple certifications
Reports have revealed that the Nothing Phone (4a) carries the model number A069, while the Pro version has the model number A069P. In the latest development, the standard edition has passed the TDRA certification in the UAE, whereas the Pro variant has surfaced in the database of the EU’s EPREL energy label listing and India’s BIS platform.
The TDRA listing does not reveal any details about the Phone (4a) apart from confirming its model number and moniker. The same goes for the BIS listing for the Phone (4a) Pro.
However, the EU energy label listing for the Pro model reveals a rated battery capacity of 5,080mAh along with support for 50W fast charging. It also confirms that the device will feature IP65-rated dust and water splash protection.
Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro specifications (rumoured)
The rumour mill is yet to leak concrete details about the Phone (4a) series. However, a report from last month revealed that both phones are expected to feature a Snapdragon 7-series chipset, while the Pro version may exclusively support eSIM connectivity.
The series may offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, with the Pro variant tipped to offer UFS 3.1 storage. Both phones are expected to arrive in multiple colour options, including black, white, blue, and pink.
At present, Nothing has not confirmed any details about the Phone (4a) series. However, with multiple certifications already under its belt, it appears that the brand may begin teasing the devices in February, followed by a launch in March.
