OnePlus 15 tipped for ludicrously fast 120W charging

A global version of the upcoming OnePlus 15 has seemingly surfaced in a certification database with the model number CPH2747. It has revealed a significant bump in its wired charging speed to a blistering 120W.

Let’s dive into all the information we have on this upcoming phone at this point.

Major spec upgrades all around

The filing was on TUV Rheinland and the 120W figure represents a solid 20 per cent jump over the already quick 100W capability found in the current OnePlus 13. Now, while it doesn’t explicitly name the phone, the “CPH” prefix is OnePlus’s signature for global models. Moreover the phone’s high-end spec strongly suggests this is their next flagship.

One big reason why OnePlus decided to pierce through the 100W limit is a rumoured battery size jump to 7,000mAh, a notable increase over the OnePlus 13’s already massive 6,000mAh capacity. Bigger cells take longer to juice up and the company has clearly taken that into account. The device is also expected to feature speedy 50W wireless charging.

Powering the whole show will be Qualcomm’s next-gen chipset, likely to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The Chinese version of the phone has already popped up on Geekbench with this processor, confirming it will run Android 16 and come with up to 16GB of RAM.

Other leaks paint a picture of a proper powerhouse. The OnePlus 15 is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. For photography, it’s expected to rock a square camera island in the top-left corner holding a trio of 50MP sensors. This setup includes a main lens, an ultrawide, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera.

The phone will reportedly ship in Black, Purple, and Titanium colourways. OnePlus is expected to unveil the device in China this October, with a global launch likely to follow in January 2026.
