OnePlus isn’t tiptoeing into the flagship ring this year; it’s crashing in, gloves off. The company has confirmed that its next big hitter, the OnePlus 15, will land in India soon after its China debut. With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 power and a slew of flex-worthy specs, it’s already shaping up as the brand’s boldest launch yet. Here’s everything that’s known about the upcoming flagship phone from the house of OnePlus.
OnePlus 15 confirmed: Monster specs
The OnePlus 15 is armed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 3nm powerhouse paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. You will get up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of space, which may be overkill for some, but just right for content creators and power users. OnePlus has also tuned its in-house Fengchi Gaming Core 2.0, so marathon gaming sessions should glide along without breaking a sweat.
Then there’s the display. At 6.78 inches, the BOE X3 LIPO panel is a beast with 1.5K resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and LTPO tech scaling from 1Hz to a wild 165Hz. Bezels are barely there, brightness peaks at 1,800 nits, and 2,160Hz PWM dimming promises to keep your eyes happy even during doomscrolling at midnight.
OnePlus is betting big on endurance too. The 7,300mAh “Glacier Battery” promises to hold on to at least 80 percent of its health after 1,600 charge cycles; that’s years of daily charging. When you do plug in, 120W wired and 50W wireless speeds mean you won’t be tethered to a wall for long.

Cameras aren’t an afterthought either. The 15 is equipped with three 50MP shooters, including an ultrawide with a 15mm focal length and OIS-equipped main and telephoto lenses. Add in niceties like an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, advanced cooling, a “wet touch” algorithm, and water protection ratings that cover IP66, IP68, and IP69, and you’ve got a spec sheet that reads pure flagship.
OnePlus 15 India launch imminent
With teasers already rolling out on OnePlus India’s socials, you can expect the OnePlus 15 to hit local shelves by late 2025, likely November or December. That’s earlier than the OnePlus 13, which only showed up in January this year.
