Oppo K15 Turbo series gaming phones spotted online ahead of official launch

Last year, Oppo launched the gaming-focused Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro phones in July. While the brand has recently launched the K14x and K14 phones in India, recent updates from an online tipster suggests that the next-generation Turbo-series Oppo phones will be called the Oppo K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro.

Rumours suggest that the Oppo K15 Turbo lineup will debut in April in China. Ahead of the launch, both models have been approved by China’s TENAA regulatory body, revealing their key specifications and design.

The TENAA certification reveals that the displays of the Oppo K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro support a 1.5K resolution, but they have different-sized panels. While the K15 Turbo has a 6.59-inch display, the Pro version houses a larger 6.78-inch screen.

Both phones are said to support a 165Hz refresh rate. While both phones are likely to get an in-screen fingerprint sensor, the Pro model may feature an ultrasonic type, which works even with oily or wet fingers.

The TENAA listings only reveal the clock speeds of the chips that power the K15 Turbo models. However, rumours suggest that the K15 Turbo will have the Dimensity 8500, whereas the K15 Turbo Pro will feature the newer Dimensity 9500s. The entire lineup will ship with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The K15 Turbo may feature a 7,265mAh battery, whereas the K15 Turbo Pro will pack a larger 7,760mAh battery. These are rated capacities; typical values could be around 100 to 200mAh more. There’s no information about the charging speeds, but both phones may offer 80W fast charging.

The K15 Turbo duo will have a 16MP front camera and a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera setup. Both models will come with other features, such as ColorOS 16-based Android 16 and built-in cooling. A key differentiator between the two phones will be the inclusion of physical gaming shoulder buttons on the K15 Turbo Pro.
