Palworld developer Pocketpair has announced a brand-new farming simulator spin-off called Palfarm, and it’s every bit as adorable and unhinged as you’d expect.
Similar characters, less chaotic gameplay
The spinoff takes a sharp turn from Palworld’s survival-based gameplay, complete with guns. Instead, players get dropped into a much cuddlier rhythm of rural life.
Set on the Palpagos Islands, Palfarm lets players grow crops, cook meals, and build their dream farm, alongside a lively cast of Pals who are there to help. Each Pal brings unique abilities to the table, from sowing seeds to running shops, and apparently, matchmaking weddings. Yes, you can get married. No, not to the Pals. But they will officiate.

Not all Pals are your pals, though. Some rogue ones are up to no good and will raid your fields, forcing you to defend your land. And yes, there’s a new Pal called Sekhmet who’s seen teaming up with Anubis in the blacksmith shop.
While the mainline Palworld is still making its way to a 1.0 release next year, Pocketpair is clearly going all in on expanding the universe. In addition to Palfarm, the studio’s also experimenting with a dating sim and even an indie publishing label.
The farming game doesn’t have a release date yet, and no official word on which platforms it’s coming to. For now, it’s listed on Steam and available to wishlist.
