Philips has just dropped two new Bluetooth speakers in India. The Philips TAS1400 and TAS2400 are made for your weekend playlists and rooftop chill scenes.
The portable speakers blend rugged outdoor vibes with clean design, offering splash resistance and up to 10 hours of battery life. Here’s everything you need to know.
All about the Philips TAS1400, TAS2400 speakers
The TAS1400 is the smaller sibling with 52 mm dynamic drivers that cover a full frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. It pumps out up to 12W of audio and runs for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
It is splash resistant with IPX4 rating, supports Bluetooth 5.3, and even has a passive radiator for deeper bass. You can also plug in a memory card or USB drive if you want offline playback. It comes with a hanging strap and RGB light modes.
The TAS2400 steps things up with larger 57mm drivers and a more powerful 32W output. It too lasts for about 10 hours and features the same IPX4 rating, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, passive bass radiator, RGB lighting, memory card and USB playback, and comes with a strap for easy carrying.
Both speakers share some common features. They support mono playback if you just want one unit. They charge via USB-C. meaning you can easily charge them with your phone’s charging cable.

Both speakers also come with 1-year warranty. They are splash and sweat-resistant, so you can take them outdoors or to the gym.
The Philips TAS1400 is priced at Rs 2,599 and the TAS2400 costs Rs 3,499. They are available in two colours, including Deep Black and Willow Bough. Both speakers are already on sale online and in retail stores across India. In the same price range, you can also check out the BoAt Stone 193 and the Croma 16W Bluetooth speaker.
