Google’s next flagship phone, the Pixel 10, is already sparking interest with a blend of AI-forward features and hardware upgrades. Scheduled for a probable launch in August 2025, it’s following the company’s established late-summer timeline, as last year’s Pixel 9 series did. A recent behind-the-scenes clip from a Pixel 10 ad shoot, surfaced online, has fueled speculation about what’s in store. Let’s dig deeper.
Google Pixel 10: Next-level AI features on the horizon
At Google I/O 2025, the company spotlighted its Gemini AI platform, hinting at deeper integration of generative AI across its product lines. The Pixel 10 is expected to leverage this momentum with new tools designed to simplify and enrich the user experience.

Among them is Video Generative ML, a feature that taps into AI to deliver powerful video editing capabilities directly within Google Photos. Then there’s Speak-to-Tweak, which lets users make photo adjustments with simple voice commands, removing the need for manual editing.
Another feature, Sketch-to-Image, similar to that found on Samsung flagship phones, converts hand-drawn sketches into realistic, photorealistic images. The tagline “Ask more of your phone” that’s been circulating (as seen in the BTS ad footage) hints at Google’s intention to make the Pixel 10 a versatile and intuitive AI assistant in your pocket.
Google Pixel 10: Under the hood
Leaks suggest the Pixel 10 will be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, likely offering a noticeable performance bump over its predecessor. Early benchmarks indicate it’s being tested on Android 15.
But in keeping with Google’s tradition, the Pixel 10 should debut with Android 16 pre-installed, marking a fresh chapter for the platform. Memory configurations are also expected to see an upgrade, with 12GB of RAM standard and a 16GB option for the Pixel 10 Pro.
Google Pixel 10: A camera setup that’s (possibly) all in
Concept renders making the rounds hint at an ambitious triple-camera system that includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera supporting up to 50x digital zoom. However, it’s worth noting these details are based on conceptual artwork rather than official specs, so expectations should be tempered.
Google Pixel 10: Early glimpses and what’s next
With an ad campaign already underway and a steady stream of leaks and renderings, Google seems intent on refining the Pixel 10’s positioning as an AI-first device. While it may not represent a dramatic hardware overhaul, the deeper integration of generative AI tools could mark a shift in how users interact with their smartphones.
