PUBG expands beyond battle royale with new Blindspot tactical shooter

PUBG is getting a spin-off game, and it’s already listed on Steam. Dubbed PUBG: Blindspot, it’s a free-to-play 5v5 tactical shooter spin-off that moves away from large battle royale maps and focuses on tight team-based indoor combat.

Sounds good? Here’s all you need to know.

What is PUBG: Blindspot

PUBG: Blindspot is a team based five versus five top-down tactical shooter designed around positioning, map control, and squad teamwork. The game puts players inside close-quarter indoor environments where attackers and defenders fight for objectives inside fortified buildings.

One of the biggest highlights of the game is the shared vision system. Players can see what their teammates see in real time, allowing silent coordination and faster tactical decision-making during combat.

The game also includes multiple playable characters, each with unique weapons and gadgets. Players can use tools like drones, explosives, flash grenades and smoke grenades to control space and outplay opponents.

Early Access and what to expect

PUBG: Blindspot has launched in early access game on Steam, and you can play it right away on your gaming computer or laptop. What’s great is that the game is free for everyone, which means you can jump straight into online matches without making any purchase.
