Realme 11 mid-range smartphones and Buds Air 5 TWS launched

Realme has just launched its latest mid-range smartphones, the realme 11 5G and realme 11X 5G in India. Alongside the smartphones, it also unveiled the realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds. Here’s everything you need to know.

The realme 11 5G sports a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128 or 256GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The smartphone comes with a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

It is offered with a dual-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 108MP primary shooter coupled with a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, for selfies and video calls is a 16MP camera. Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.

The realme 11X 5G also features the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, and comes with either 6 or 8GB of RAM, coupled with 128GB of storage. The device sports a 6.72-inch full HD+ display as well with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Coming to optics, the realme 11X 5G is offered with a 64MP primary lens and a secondary 2MP shooter at the rear, along with an 8MP camera at the front. The realme 11X 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The realme 11 5G can be had in two colour options – glory black and glory gold. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 18,999 while the 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999.

The realme 11X 5G can be purchased in two colour options as well – midnight black and purple dawn. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 14,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 15,999.

Realme also launched two new TWS earbuds – realme Buds Air 5 Pro and the Buds Air 5. The realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds feature 11mm bass drivers and a 6-mic design with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 50 dB.

They also feature dual-device connectivity capabilities, support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and a 40ms super low latency mode for gaming. Also, they come with support for Hi-Res audio and 360-degree spatial audio effects as well. Lastly, they feature an IPX5 water resistance rating and a total playback time of 40 hours with the case. They feature fast-charging support as well, with 10 minutes of charge providing for up to 7 hours of playback time, realme claims.

The realme Buds Air 5, on the other hand, features 12.4mm drivers, also with a 6-mic setup and ANC capabilities up to 50dB. The TWS earbuds feature a playback time of up to 38 hours with the case and also feature dual device connectivity, as well as support for Dolby Atmos and a 45ms super low latency mode for gaming.

realme Buds Air 5, Air 5 Pro pricing and availability

The realme Buds Air 5 Pro are priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available in two colours – sunrise orange and astral black. The realme Buds Air 5, on the other hand, are priced at Rs 3,699 and can be had in either a deep sea blue, or Arctic white colour.
