The 15 series might just be Realme’s sharpest drop yet

Realme 15 series to arrive in India soon, specs and launch timeline revealed

Realme is gearing up to light up the mid-range smartphone space again; this time with the Realme 15 series, slated for launch in July 2025. After the launch of the turbo-powered GT 7 series, this one is more for the masses. While the company has stayed quiet on official confirmations, a stream of certifications and tipster leaks has given us a detailed look into what’s brewing behind the scenes.

And much like its predecessors, the Realme 15 series of phones look poised to deliver variety, value, and velocity. Here’s what’s known about the upcoming Realme 15 series so far.

Realme 15 series: Everything known so far

First up, don’t expect the entire lineup to drop at once. In classic Realme fashion, the launch is likely to unfold in waves. According to known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the rollout may begin with one or two models in July, followed by the rest later – a strategy that mirrors the Realme 14 series release pattern.

For context, the 14 Pro 5G and 14 Pro+ 5G landed in India earlier this year, while the 14 Pro Lite trickled in later. The standard Realme 14 5G never made it to Indian shores, and instead was reserved for select global markets.

This time around, however, all signs point toward India getting its fair share of action with the Realme 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Lite.

Targeting the entry-level crowd with a splash of flair, the Realme 15 Lite, bearing model number RMX5000, could become a go-to for budget-conscious users who want more than just the basics. According to a report by Xpertpick, the phone may launch in three RAM-storage variants – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB.

That’s a lot of memory muscle for a phone expected to cost under Rs 15,000. Colour options like Dark Purple, Speed Green, and Victory Gold are expected, with Realme once again betting on bold hues to turn heads. Details on the chipset remain under wraps for now, but if history is anything to go by, expect an entry-level processor.

At the centre of the 15 series lineup is the Realme 15 Pro (RMX5101), set to build on the brand’s mid-range journey. It’s expected to arrive in four variants, with RAM topping out at 12GB and storage pushing all the way to 512GB, a spec ceiling that not long ago was reserved for premium phones.

The Pro model may come draped in sleek finishes like Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, and Velvet Green, echoing Realme’s signature dual-tone, satin-metal aesthetic.

While details on the display and internals are still under wraps, early indicators suggest this device could serve as the spiritual successor to the Realme 14 Pro+, offering just the right balance between performance and price.

Then there’s the Realme 15 5G, expected to carry the RMX5106 model number. This one might just be the sleeper hit of the series. Tipped to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, it could offer high-end performance in a sub-Rs 20,000 package.

Some highlights from the leak mill include a 6,300mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging, 120Hz flat AMOLED display for that ultra-smooth visual experience, a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP main sensor, and a 32MP front camera. Expected colourways include Flowing Silver, Silk Pink, and Velvet Green.

If these specs hold true, the Realme 15 5G could be one of the most well-rounded smartphones in its bracket, especially for users who want premium features without the flagship price tag.

The 15 series seems to signal a more refined and aggressive Realme. With tailored launches across price segments, bolder design choices, and serious hardware muscle, the company is targeting not just value buyers, but users who are design and spec-conscious too.
