Realme GT 7 is a gaming phone that will last you a while with its 7,200mAh battery

Realme has announced a new smartphone in the premium segment and it’s for all the power users out there. The all-new Realme GT 7 comes with a high refresh rate OLED display, a flagship-grade chipset, and a monstrous 7,200mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know, from its key features to price and availability.

What’s special about the Realme GT 7?

The Realme GT 7 joins the GT 7 Pro, which was launched a few months back. Unlike the Pro model, this one brings a Dimensity chipset. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The device also comes with a GT performance engine 2.0 for boosting performance. It supports native 144 frame mode for 13 popular games. Its screen is also capable of handling all those FPS, thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate support.

The device has a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution for crisp content. It has the industry’s first 4608Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming and has local peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits. To keep thermals in check, there’s a Graphene Ice-sensing double-layer cooling system, which includes a 7700mm2 vapor chamber.

One of the phone’s major highlights is the battery. It packs a mammoth 7,200mAh Titan battery with 100W fast charging support. It also supports 100W fast charging that offers up to 50 per cent charge in 19 minutes.

As for cameras, it has a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. There’s a 16MP camera on the front for selfies. The device is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60fps.
