MediaTek has just unveiled its high-end Dimensity 9400e chipset. Realme swiftly followed suit, announcing that its highly anticipated Realme GT 7 smartphone will be powered by this new SoC.
It will be the first phone to house the Dimensity 9400e chipset in the South Asia, Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East, and North Africa regions. The Realme GT 7 has already been creating quite the buzz in the tech community, given that it is touted to be a peak performer at a relatively affordable price.
Realme GT 7 to be powered by Dimensity 9400e
Powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400e – the affordable counterpart of the flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset – the phone reportedly can achieve an AnTuTu score of over 2.45 million! This places it amongst the top-performing Android phones globally, with the phone going head-to-head with several flagship phones from 2024.

The phone will also come with GT Boost which is a frame-by-frame workload prediction engine that leverages AI to ensure sustainable frame rates even when playing demanding mobile gaming titles. The chipset also features excellent hardware-software optimisation, which ensures low battery consumption while keeping the performance and thermal management top-notch. A gamer’s dream.
The company also put out a teaser where it was revealed that the GT 7 will come with a display with up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness, and a gargantuan 7,000mAh battery. This is complemented by 120W fast charging, capable of topping the phone to 100 per cent in merely 40 minutes.
