Redmi is launching a new budget smartphone in India that packs style and power. The upcoming Redmi 15 5G is all set to launch next month, and we now have a release date. In addition to this, some of the key features of the phone have been revealed. Here’s everything you need to know.
Redmi 15 5G launch date and key features
The upcoming Redmi 15 5G is set to launch on August 19 in India. It should arrive in the budget segment and offer devices from Motorola, Realme, and Vivo a run for their money. While the pricing hasn’t been confirmed, expect it to be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000.
Coming to its key features, Redmi has revealed that the device will feature a massive battery. It may pack a large 7,000mAh cell with support for fast charging. It will likely be a silicon-carbon battery, as Redmi also boasts the phone to be quite slim.
Other than the battery, the smartphone will also feature a fast display. The device will sport a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a fluid 144 Hz refresh rate.

As for performance, the device is confirmed to pack the new Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. For photography, the phone includes a 50 MP rear camera, paired with a secondary lens.
The device will also have an IP rating and run on Android 15-based HyperOS. Redmi has also revealed the possible colour options. The palette includes Midnight Black, Frosted White and Sandy Purple.
