Redmi Note 15 Pro series to launch next week with up to 200MP camera

After launching the Redmi Note 15 5G, the brand is now focusing on the Pro models. The launch date for the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is here, and it’s arriving as early as next week with key upgrades. This includes a bigger battery and up to 200MP cameras. Here’s everything you need to know.

Redmi Note 15 Pro launch date and expected price

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is scheduled to be officially announced on January 29. It is expected to start under Rs 30,000 for the base models, and may reach around Rs 40,000, depending on the variant.

Redmi is expected to launch both the Note 15 Pro and the 15 Pro+, with the latter being a pricier handset with extra features.

Upon launch, these devices will compete with the likes of the OnePlus Nord 5, the Pixel 9a, and the Realme 16 Pro.

The details for the Redmi Note 15 Pro are scarce, but it’s expected have a similar design as the Pro+. The Note 15 Pro+, on the other hand, will come with a whopping 200MP camera on the rear and have a durable design, thanks to the IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.

Performance-wise, the device may get the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM. The Pro could pack the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset.

The Pro+ may feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution screen with 120Hz fast refresh rate support. Morever, it may get a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
