Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature a 200MP Sony camera

The smartphone may reportedly get a larger Sony sensor, upping the photography experience. If you are planning to get the next Samsung flagship phone, continue to read.

All about the camera on the Galaxy S26 Ultra

According to Fixed Focus Digital, the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a new main camera sensor. It will likely be the 200MP Sony CMOS sensor, which has a size of 1/1.1-inch. This new sensor will be a significant upgrade over the existing 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HP2 sensor used on the existing Galaxy S25 Ultra.

For those unaware, Samsung used the same sensor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Having said that, the new sensor is expected to bring major camera improvements. Since the 200MP Sony sensor has a larger size, it is expected to offer a much better experience in low light.
