Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 lineup details leaked, and it’s looking interesting

Samsung has officially lit the fuse on its next wave of foldables, having already kickstarted the teaser campaign. A fresh teaser from Samsung dropped today, and right on cue, the leaks have started to spill.

And if the latest whispers are accurate, the next generation of Galaxy foldables won’t just be about refinements; as it has been for a few years now. Instead, it will bring a slew of improvements to the South-Korean company’s revered foldable lineup including the likes of deep Galaxy AI integration, refined form factors, and a wide array of new features.

Right off the bat, nothing massive has leaked, but some reports have revealed the colour options and storage variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Here’s all you need to know.

Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and the all-new Flip 7 FE are coming soon

Let’s start with the familiar – the Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to a new leak, the Fold 7 will come in three memory configurations, starting with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, and topping out at 16GB RAM and a hefty 1TB.

The colourways have also been revealed. Expect shades like Silver Shadow, Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and an eye-catching Coral Red. On the flip side (literally), the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will offer more restrained hardware options, but with a bit of wiggle room for memory.

Three variants are rumoured. These include 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. Colour choices are fewer here – just Blue Shadow and a two-tone White Black. But that’s par for the course for Samsung’s sleeker, fashion-forward foldable.

Enter the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE

What’s brand new this year, however, is the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – a model that will probably bring Samsung foldables to the masses at a more accessible price point. With just two variants (8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage), and colour options limited to Black or White, it’s clear this is the minimalist of the bunch.

But that simplicity could be the point. A foldable for the masses, stripped of fluff but still carrying that unmistakable Flip DNA.

What About the Ultra foldable?

Conspicuously absent from the spec leaks is the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, but the teaser Samsung posted today has already hinted at it. Industry insiders say this device will possibly be the thinnest foldable Samsung has ever made – slimmer than even the Fold 6’s 5.6mm profile.

You can expect the new Ultra foldable to be Samsung’s most premium, most boundary-pushing folding phone to date. Think of it as the spiritual successor to the Note Ultra, built for users who demand not just performance, but a physical object that screams sophistication.

While Samsung hasn’t locked in a launch date for their new wave of foldables just yet, the live teaser campaign signals that the official reveal is right around the corner; likely syncing up with the brand’s next Unpacked event. To know more, stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma.
