Skullcandy’s new Ink’d earbuds bring ANC to the budget market

Skullcandy just dropped its latest set of true wireless earbuds, the Ink’d ANC, on the Indian market. This is a budget set clearly aimed at making active noise cancellation more accessible. The earbuds cost just Rs 2,999.

Everything to know about the Skullcandy Ink’d earbuds

The audio hardware is built around 10mm drivers, tuned with Skullcandy’s Supreme Sound technology. Like many other earbuds, these feature two types of noise reduction. The primary active noise cancellation (ANC) function works to silence ambient sounds around the listener.

A secondary environmental noise cancellation (ENC) system leverages a quad-microphone array for cleaning up voice calls, ensuring a clearer connection by isolating speech from background chatter.

Skullcandy has also included a low-latency mode for mobile gamers. This setting reduces the delay between on-screen action and in-ear audio cues, which is critical during competitive play where timing is everything.

Battery endurance appears is another major selling point for the Ink’d ANC. Skullcandy claims a massive total playback time of up to 43 hours when combined with the charging case. The earbuds also support fast charge technology. A quick 10-minute charge via the USB-C port reportedly delivers two hours of listening time.

The earbuds run on Bluetooth 5.4 and support multipoint pairing, allowing them to connect simultaneously to two devices like a laptop and a smartphone. An IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance is present too, making them a viable option for workouts and daily commutes – though the charging case itself does not carry an IP rating.

The Ink’d ANC earbuds are now available in a True Black colour option through online channels.
